They include “Spiderhead,” an action-crime thriller based on George Saunders’ short story, starring Chris Hemsworth as a scientist experimenting with the efficacy and effects of a mind-altering drug in humans, including two penitentiary inmates (Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett). Another is “Hustle,” a sports drama starring Adam Sandler as a has-been, washed-up basketball coach struggling to get his rhythm back in life. Netflix also welcomes the arrival of the original film “Interceptor.” The action adventure stars Elsa Pataki as an army commander who uses her tactical expertise to stop attacks that threaten a missile interceptor base.
