You may want to wait.Though all three Disneyland Resort Hotels are accepting reservations from September through December on their travel booking website, as of this report, though there is no reopening date announced for Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. Downtown Disney reopened to shoppers and diners in July, though that did not prompt a resort property reopening. Is not known if the hotel reopening coincides with a reopening of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Gavin Newsom’s timeline for opening the state. California officials are back at the drawing board to decide how and when theme parks will reopen. Health data is the driving factor, though recent numbers have been unreliable.In an OC Register Report, California Health and Human Services spokesperson Kate Folmar spoke on the current state of theme park reopening. “We will continue to review health data to determine when and how theme parks may consider reopening at lower risk to staff and visitors,” Folmar replied to the Register, over email.Once Disneyland Resort reopens, the parks will have reduced capacity levels and enhanced sanitization measures. They are currently awaiting state-guidelines for those measures. Downtown Disney is currently in a phased reopening, which is setting the footprint for future park openings.
