(Google Maps)NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The city’s finances and upcoming budget will be up the center of discussion when Newport Beach leaders meet for a special planning session Saturday morning. The Newport Beach City Council will receive an update on the city’s financial status, including “challenges in the current fiscal year and in developing the next budget,” according to the council’s upcoming agenda. The special meeting will start at 9 a.m. in the City Council chambers. City Hall is at 100 Civic Center Drive.
