Orange County PetSmarts are hosting a “Treat Your Boo” Halloween event for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish and every critter in between on Saturday, October 26 from noon to 2 p.m.Dogs will be able to learn tricks for treats and pet parents can fill a treat bag for their pet at PetSmart’s Trick-or-Treat stations. The party will feature a costume contest with awards for first, second and third place, plus certificates of participation — because all pets are good pets. There will be photo ops with Chance the Mascot, and pet parents can share with their friends and family by hashtagging #petsmartparties. Now pets have as many costumes to choose from as humans do at a Halloween store: cats and dogs can transform into dinosaurs, sharks and spiders, and there are also spooky collars and harnesses perfect for bringing your pet trick-or-treating.
