NEWPORT BEACH, CA — It is the week earlier than an unlimited 5oth birthday bash. Sunny Bunny Balloon proprietor and designer Nicci Dewez is prepping the largest social gathering she’s ever designed. The premier set up could be huge, daring, lined in cassette-shaped balloons, mylar balloon stars, and pops of colour in sizzling pinks and teals. Customized prompts of favourite 80s tunes would full the look of her design.
The set up would take six folks to create and two days for the entire setup.
It has been a wild and bumpy experience since she hung her first balloon swag throughout the pandemic, she tells Patch.
Dewez and her husband dwell in Newport Seashore—proper on the water—with their two youngsters: Sunny, their daughter, 6, and 4-year-old son, Ace.
She has labored from house since they had been infants. Diving into her inventive facet, she designed and offered custom-decal-covered child blocks over Etsy, working at her kitchen desk.
